Velux America is apart of Velux Group and has been around for over 60 years.  Established since 1941 the company has continued to grow.  It has been said that Mr. Villum Kann, who is the founder of Velux helped people find living space because their homes were destroyed during World War II.  Not only did World War II destroy thousands of homes it also caused thousands to become homeless.  After the homes were built they realized that most of the homes were missing light and that was when Mr. Villum Kann invented skylight and roof windows.  Skylights were the modern source for light and ventilation.   

Later on, Velux Solutions was created to better service the product.  Velux Solutions consist of several trained employees that design and repair the products.  Skylight Specialists designed a warranty to certify their product and make repairs necessary to keep buyers coming back. 

Customer Service is of the utmost importance and  if you are having issues with your product please contact Velux at 1-800-88-VELUX, so that a repair technician can resolve the problem you are experiencing.  A service technician will come to your home and fix your skylight.  Roof windows and Skylights are covered for twenty years with the Velux warranty.  They also have a five year warranty on their accessories and controls.  Velux is here to provide satisfaction to their customers and will continue to improve on their products.
